I would like to wish my lovely mother a very happy birthday!!! I know at times it may seem as though I take you for granted or like I don’t appreciate all the sacrifices you’ve made, but believe me…you are greatly appreciated!!!! I LOVE you soooo much and I’m so proud of the woman that you are. Thanks for being the first example of a real woman that I saw. Thank you for making the mistakes that you made so that I wouldn’t have to make them. Thank you for always being front row and center, even when I said I didn’t want you there. Thank you for loving me enough to allow me to make my own mistakes and not judging me for them. Thank you for being my loudest cheerleader…I know I say you embarrass me but truth of the matter, it just wouldn’t be the same if you weren’t in the crowd screaming (or crying during the dance recitals) LOL.

I know there are so many things that you sacrificed just so my sister and I could have a better life. Don’t worry, your sacrifices have not been in vain. Just watch, the rest of your life will be the best of your life…I promise you that!
