Its funny how we have our life’s planned out. We want to do “this” by the time we’re this age and we want to accomplish “that” before we’re another age. I must admit, when I was about 12 I wrote down everything I wanted to accomplish and the age at which I wanted to accomplish those things. I won’t say I had some unrealistic expectations but I did have some unrealistic time frames.
I grew up in a household where it wasn’t cool to tattle. I can’t tell you how many times my older guy cousins would tell me “Snitches get stitches, and some end up in ditches.” But is it really snitching if you’ve given the person ample opportunities to do right by you? Don’t get me wrong, I believe in loyalty and for that reason alone I’ll take some things to my grave…but at the same time, there’s a big difference between loyalty and stupidity.
I’ve found my passion, my calling, the reason God blessed this earth with my presence J (Sorry I couldn’t resist) So many people ask the question “What’s your anti drug?” So I would like to pose that very question to you today, what’s your anti drug? What gifts have God blessed you with? What has been your distraction from destruction?
