Day 8: My Mary Kay Family

I went to seminar terrified. Not fully knowing what I’d gotten myself into. However, while there a fire was lit and I realized I was the only one holding me back. I am no longer afraid of me and I have to thank the ladies in pink (Cadillac’s) My Mary Kay family! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Who would have known that because of something as life changing as cancer I would be introduced to a company that is literally changing my life. I’ve always had a desire to help women become a better version of themselves, now I have an even greater opportunity. Mary Kay; enriching women’s lives.

Each of you ladies have truly enriched my life. Disclaimer: I didn’t admit this during our dinner but I’m definitely a member of the “Blubber Club” lol. I sometimes play my Voxer messages in tears. It’s one thing for your family and friends to believe in you, but for people who barely even know you to say “you can do it” or “I believe in you” renders me speechless. From inspirational Voxer messages to encouraging post cards. From a smile and a hug before a meeting to a Facebook post. From my adopted family over at the Pink Link studio to my Future Moreno Area family. You all somehow seem to know just what I need and I couldn’t be more thankful.

I used to say that I’d pick working with men any day over working with women, however, you all have changed that. Everyone has a desire to succeed but you also want to see others succeed. Wow! You just don’t find many companies that operate like that. Thank you all. I was going to attempt to list everyone, but it’s early, I’m semi emotional and I know I’ll forget someone so I’m not even going to set myself up lol. Nevertheless, because of you (yes you), I know I can!

Thank You

PS- I know you see my Nicki Minaj LOL
