I’ve always been taught that you date to marry. No need to waste time. I’m sure by now you’re wondering why he isn’t “Dating Material”, its simple, he has a child. Not just a child, but a daughter. I’m flexible when it comes to what I want in a man, but a relationship with God is a must and no children allowed. Now hear me out. Yes, he’s an amazing father; but I don’t want to start out playing second. Simple as that….And for that reason he feels like I’m selfish.
I grew up in a household where it wasn’t cool to tattle. I can’t tell you how many times my older guy cousins would tell me “Snitches get stitches, and some end up in ditches.” But is it really snitching if you’ve given the person ample opportunities to do right by you? Don’t get me wrong, I believe in loyalty and for that reason alone I’ll take some things to my grave…but at the same time, there’s a big difference between loyalty and stupidity.
Everyone has been asking me if I’m going to get another dog…Too be 100% honest, I really don’t know. This is not something I could deal with again. I mean my I didn’t know you could love something, not human, that much.
It’s too late to get back in my lane, so now I have two options left. Over correct and end up on the side of the road hurt and alone or collide and hope that it’s a minor accident, but nothing that can’t be repaired. OMG help…did I give lifetime expectations to a seasonal relationship?!?!?!
