To the people that have been there from the start; thanks for having my back, and for even carrying me at times. I’m finally on my feet, now it’s time for you to kicks up yours. Sit back, relax, I got you…each and every one of you. I won’t even address the ones that counted me out…I think the fact that I’m still here, against all odds, is a big enough slap in the face. 🙂
Just be cautious of family members that are quick to run and tell their side. Be cautious of the ones that are always playing the victim. Because they’re not as innocent as they want you to think. I guarantee you; they’re telling you just enough to make the other person seem wrong for being upset. I’m not saying your family members would lie to you, but they’re definitely not telling you everything
I know there are so many things that you sacrificed just so my sister and I could have a better life. Don’t worry, your sacrifices have not been in vain. Just watch, the rest of your life will be the best of your life…I promise you that!
You’re more than a cousin to me. More like a sister. I honestly don’t know how I would have turned out if you weren’t in my life. I hope this is one of the happiest most successful years of your life. Happy 30th Birthday, I love you. I know if I’m half the woman you are when I’m 30 I’ll be in pretty good shape.
I’ve always been taught that you date to marry. No need to waste time. I’m sure by now you’re wondering why he isn’t “Dating Material”, its simple, he has a child. Not just a child, but a daughter. I’m flexible when it comes to what I want in a man, but a relationship with God is a must and no children allowed. Now hear me out. Yes, he’s an amazing father; but I don’t want to start out playing second. Simple as that….And for that reason he feels like I’m selfish.
